Masada Tiyul!

Our Masada tiyul began at 3 AM! We reached the top of Masada just in time to Daven neitz with a beautiful view of sunrise. We then went on a tour of all the historical sites on Masada. Afterward, we were treated to a delicious breakfast of muffins and fruit, and had fun going for donkey rides. We ended off our amazing tiyul by davening at Mearat Hamachpela and a delicious pizza lunch.

Giving Thanks Day

Today we celebrated Thanksgiving in our special TD way with our Giving Thanks Day bash headed by Abigail Eida, Chava Levin, Simcha Goldman, and Devorah Olkha. We had an incredible lunch (with turkey of course!), heard inspirational speeches by Rabbi Fix and Avigail Shaar, and expressed our sincere gratitude to the school with a moving video.

Dinner at Staff part 2!

This past Monday night many girls had the privilege of being hosted by different staff members for dinner. We had a delicious home cooked meal and played a fun trivia game. Thank you to the Fix, Lev, Schechter, and Padowitz families for hosting!

Dinner at Staff!

This Wednesday night many girls had the opportunity to have dinner at their teachers' houses! We were served delicious homemade food and played a very fun trivia game. It was a great opportunity to spend time with our amazing staff outside of school. Thank you to the Baruch, Wenglin, and Seltzer families for hosting! Stay tuned next week when the rest of the TD girls have "dinner out".

Tiyul!

On Tuesday we had our first overnight tiyul! We started the day by davening at the kotel. We then headed to Emek Hamaayanot for a fun water hike. After lunch we headed to Ramat Hagolan, a beautiful viewpoint of northern Israel. We had a delicious BBQ dinner and then settled into our "glamping" accommodations in Mongolian tents. On Wednesday we began with davening at Amuka. We then headed to the kever of the Rashbi and Har Meiron. After a pizza lunch we went to Rosh Hanikra, the most northern point in Israel and then headed back to school for dinner. It was an incredible first tiyul!
